Our Founder

Winnie Hung, a registered dietitian and project manager, is currently based in Vancouver, British Columbia. Winnie embarked on her career in dietetics over 13 years ago, initially as a clinical dietitian working with geriatric population and cancer patients. She established a private practice in 2015, offering clinical nutrition and project management services to healthcare organizations across public, private, and non-profit sectors in British Columbia. Later, Winnie assumed a leadership position in a long-term care facility in Vancouver, primarily focusing on supporting clinical operations of the site during the pandemic. This unique blend of clinical, operations, and project management backgrounds equips Winnie with a comprehensive understanding of the healthcare ecosystem. With this broader perspective, Winnie tackles challenges and identifies opportunities from various angles, leading to more effective and innovative solutions.

Winnie is committed to delivering positive project outcomes through a collaborative and engaged approach. Through open communication and active involvement with key partners, she ensures that all voices are heard and valued. By forming strong partnerships with healthcare professionals, operational leaders, and subject matter experts, Winnie leverages collective knowledge and resources to drive successful project execution.

The “Quartet”
Concept:

At Health Quartet, our approach to project management in healthcare is akin to a well-conducted symphony — harmonizing various elements for optimal performance.

Our quartet of values — Precision, Compassion, Efficiency, and Innovation — guides every endeavor we undertake. With a background in project management, our founder brings a keen eye for detail and a structured approach to orchestrating projects, ensuring precision in execution.

The word “Quartet” symbolizes the holistic perspective, mirroring the interconnectedness of our expertise areas. Just as four musicians blend their talents to create a masterpiece, Health Quartet seamlessly integrates project management, quality improvement, patient safety, and clinical operations to orchestrate transformative healthcare initiatives.

Winnie is a passionate advocate for quality improvement and patient safety. Drawing upon the principles of the LEADS framework, she is driven to lead transformative projects that optimize healthcare operations, enhance patient care and foster a culture of continuous improvement. To further enhance her leadership, project management and process improvement skills, Winnie has earned the prestigious Certified Health Executive (CHE) designation from the Canadian College of Health Leaders, as well as become a Project Management Professional (PMP) certified by the Project Management Institute.  Winnie is also a Lean Six Sigma Black Belt (LSSBB) practitioner.
